A one-vehicle crash occurred about 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 6, along SmitLane Road, in East Penn Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Ryan C. Kuehn, 19, of Lehighton, was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus eastbound when he fell asleep. The car crossed the double yellow lines into the westbound lane and onto the berm where it struck trees. Kuehn sustained a laceration to his head and was treated at the Lehighton hospital. Troopers cited Kuehn for roadways laned for traffic.

Troopers investigated a head-on crash that occurred along Rolling Hills Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Cassie Lamberty, 34, of Kunkletown, was distracted by children in the rear of her car and it crossed into the oncoming lane and collided into a vehicle driven by Kyla Dorney, 18, of Saylorsburg. Troopers did not indicate if anyone was injured.

Reilly, 30, of Effort, and James R. White, 66, of Albrightsville, were both stopped for traffic in front of the school for someone making a left turn. Ronald L. Delp Jr., 17, of Stroudsburg, driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, approached the vehicles and the front of his car hit the rear of Reilly's 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe pushing it into the rear of White's 2005 Chevrolet Impala.
