The June term Grand Jury in Carbon County, in its formal report to Judge Albert H. Heimbach, unanimously agreed that a new county home is definitely needed and suggested that a new name be selected for it. The new institution is to be built in Weatherly and will replace the outmoded facility at Laurytown. Another recommendation by the jury is that a new drinking fountain should be placed on the first floor of the county Court House. Also, the amplification system in the court house should be checked as it is very difficult to hear properly.
