TAHS Science Honor Society holds induction

The Tamaqua Area High School Chapter of the Science National Honor Society has inducted new members. Requirements for entrance include that seniors must be a junior or senior; must maintain an average of 92 percent in all science courses from 9-12 grades; and must not have experienced academic or behaviorial issues in grades 9-12. Advisors for the chapter are Roseann M. Weinrich and Lawrence Capozzelli. Inductees included, front row from left, Dane DeWire, Spencer Bennett, Allison Updkie, Melody Kelly, Anthony Iacoviello and Amber Carroll. Second row, Carl Wittig, Michael Streisel, Amber Heffelfinger, Kayla Hope and Kelsey Patrick. Third row, Nathanial Leibensberger, Calvin Troxell, Dana Ansbach, Jacob Fegley and Jacqueline McMullen. Also inducted were Schuyler Schmidt and Amy Zehner.
