Michael Dziak Sr., a resident of Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, is celebrating his 95th birthday.

Born in Hazleton on June 1, 1915, Michael has resided there most of his life. He is a World War II Army Veteran who served in the African and Italian Theatres. Michael worked as a contractor and was married to his beloved wife, Rose, for 58 years until her passing in 2005.He has three children, Peggy of York, Pa., Michael of Oneida, Pa., and Thomas of Clark Summit, Pa. Michael is also the proud grandfather of five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.He is a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hazleton.His passions are hunting and fishing.
