Carbon K-9 donation

@$:Members of Lehighton Brownie Troop 329 saved their pennies, then donated the money to the Carbon County K-9 program. Pam Berger, co-leader, said collectively the girls saved $148.76 in pennies. Jamie Bennick, kneeling, K-9 officer, pets a dog at the shelter while looking on are Brownie members, l-r, Brooke Focht, Shain Housobsky, Grace Fitzsimmons, Bryanna Berger, Breanna Keiser, Tori Helwig, and Berger. Other members of the Brownie troop are Tatiana Gonzales, Jessica Hess, Elaina Moretz, Natalie Smith, Jenna Kroboth, and Caylie Hanf. Berger said this is the second year the girls in the troop saved money for an animal program. Last year they contributed to Pennies for Penguins at the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
