JTAHS students compete at State Science Competition

Students from Jim Thorpe Area High School participated at the PA Junior Academy of Science State Competition which was held at Penn State University in State College recently. Pictured are, from left : Tyler McGeehan, who won a 2nd Place in the Physics Division; Haley Cope, who won a 2nd Place in the Microbiology Division; Christian Ferko, who won a 1st Place in the Chemistry Division and a 1st Place in the Math Division; and Mr. Donahue, PA Junior Academy of Science Advisor for Jim Thorpe. Christian Ferko will be attending M.I.T. this Fall.
