LCCC to offer summer camps for preschoolers

Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold several camps for children ages 3-5. The following noncredit classes will be held at LCCC's Schnecksville campus.

Let your child explore the world with a new early childhood program. Whippersnappers! focuses on a different adventure each week. Topics include "Reptiles and Amphibians", "Journey Under the Sea" and "Warm-Blooded Wonders". Two camps will be offered, each held Monday through Thursday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Session I is held June 14 through July 1. Course number is #YOU 647-A35. Session II is held July 6-22 (No camp Monday, July 5). Course number is #YOU 647-B35. Pre-K Computer Camp helps children develop language, pre-reading and pre-writing skills and basic number concepts. Course content includes computer terms, keyboarding, cyber safety, and how to take care of a complex mechanism. This one-week camp will be held Monday through Friday, July 26-30 from 9 a.m. till 12 noon. Course number is YOU 970-90.
