Both the Andreas General George S. Patton Jr VFW Post 5069 and Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Detachment 626 performed their annual Memorial Day services at various cemeteries and memorials throughout West Penn. Both organizations also took part in many other Memorial Day weekend functions, including both the Tamaqua and Summit Hill Memorial Day Parades.
