The West Penn Township Lions and Lioness Clubs are sponsoring a free Senior Fun Day at West Penn Community Park on Saturday, Aug. 7. The event will be held rain or shine.

Fun Day is open to any resident of West Penn Township, 62 years of age or older, and his or her spouse.Opening ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m., with a barber shop quartet performance at 11:15 a.m. Mealtime is at noon, and a light lunch will be served at 5 p.m.Entertainment and activities include Pa. Dutch humorist, "Bill and LeRoy", senior self protection, bingo and a cakewalk. There will be a visit by Penn Mahoning Ambulance for health screens.The deadline for reservations is Aug. 2.
