Carbon County Idol won by Justin Plocinik
VICTOR IZZO/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS Carbon County Idol 4 winner Justin Plocinik performed the song "Bring Him Home".
"The best ever Carbon County Idol competition ever". That's how Natalie Kmetz the Director of Carbon County Idol 4 summed up all that has been seen and heard from the 11 competitors who gave it all they had throughout the contest to the delight of the audience and judges alike.
Culminating three weeks of competition, the title of "Carbon County Idol 4" was awarded to Contestant No. 2, Justin Plocinik, who in addition to the title also received a plaque and a prize of $250.
For his final presentation of the competition, Justin sang "Bring Him Home" which he also did for an encore after the announcement of his competition win.
The Second Runner-up was contestant 16 Hailey Hoherchak and the First Runner-up was contestant 18 Riley Durishim.
The contestants performed before a large audience gathered in the auditorium of Jim Thorpe Area High School.
The winner of the competition was decided based on both the three weeks of audience votes as well as the decision of the judges.
The judges Judy Romanisko, Jim Murdock, Angela Nardini, and Sherry Schafer were joined for the final week by a guest judge, Tim Marchetto, a past finalist of "American Idol".
