A burglary and theft incident are being investigated in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the break-in occurred at the home of Larry Carl Meier, 138 Main Blvd., Brandonville, East Union Township. Unknown criminals removed a 139-piece Craftsman tool kit, a case of Keystone light beer and two bottles of home made wine. Entry was made by kicking in a side door. The incident occurerd sometime between 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.The theft occurerd at the Locust Ridge wind farm off SR339 in Mahanoy Township. Troopers said two black plastic gas cans, both five gallon capacity, and one automotive style battery that was wired to a generator on a flatbed trailer were stolen.The theft occurred sometime between 8 a.m. on July 21 and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
