Rush taxes

Real estate tax bills sent to Rush Township residents contain an error in office hours. Tax Collector Dolores Walck has noted her office will be closed on Aug. 3 and 4. The office will then be open on Aug. 10 and 11, which is the reverse of what is on the tax bill.

Residents may wish to take note of this change to avoid any inconvenience.

The Tamaqua Senior Citizens group met last week with 73 members in attendance. President Jean Machamer conducted the business session and provided readings.
