They shuttle from one activity to another in their own little fun factory.
Back by popular demand, the Palmerton Day Camp is in full swing at the Memorial Park.
The camp opened Monday and runs through Friday, with the theme "Road Trip USA, Celebrating 100 Years of Scouting".
Andy Wislock, program director, said there are various activities each day to keep the youth active.
"They have lots of fun," Wislock said. "The kids learn teamwork, leadership, and how to be good citizens in their community."
Debbie Samson, program director, said there were 32 youths and 17 staff members that comprised this year's camp.
"We're doing well," Samson said. "The kids are enjoying the new slide at Palmerton Pool."
Sponsored by the Minsi Trails Council Boy Scouts of America, Allentown, the camp offers activities such as Scout skills, sports, swimming, archery, nature, BB rifles, games, skits and music.
The Minsi Trails Council Boy Scouts of America serves Scouts of eastern Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley and Pocono regions.
