A car cruise at MapleShade Meadows Assisted Living Center in Nesquehoning benefited the Friends of Animals and Animal Shelter of Carbon County. The event was conducted by the Jukebox Cruisers of Jim Thorpe with Joe Boyle (right) as its president. About two dozen cars participated in the 10th. year as the Jukebox Cruisers Cruise for Charity with 130 members. Roy Bossard is the official disc jockey for the club playing oldies for the event. A total of $220 was raised during the event.
