Beer banners stolen in Summit Hill
Sharon Chapman, owner of Parkview Inn on West Ludlow Street, Summit Hill, is appealing for help from the public regarding a weekend theft.
She said the Parkview is celebrating its 31st anniversary on July 23 and 24.
For the celebration, there were two large Heineken beer flags. She said they measured 12-feet by 2-feet.
The flags were hammered into macadem in front of the inn. Someone ripped them out and took them.
"They weren't even ours," she said. "They were to be returned to Heineken."
She said the anniversary event will continue even though the flags are gone.
The thefts have been reported to the Summit Hill Police Department.
Anyone with information on the flags is asked to contact Summit Hill police.
