Joy Schatz of Kresgeville, daughter of Robert and Ruth Phillips of Neffs, became the bride of Eric Snyder of Kresgeville, son of Fred and Kathy Snyder of Gilbert, on May 15, 2010, at Longboat Key, Fla. Kenneth Merritt officiated the single ring ceremony. Mellow Vibes played the steel drums.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose Kayla Schatz as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karyssa Schatz and Teresa Ticson.The groom chose Fred Snyder as the best man. Ushers were Robert Phillips and Ethan Snyder.Following the ceremony, the couple held a reception at Hilton Longboat Key Resort in Longboat Key. They then honeymooned in Hawaii.The new Mrs. Snyder received a bachelor of science in health arts from the University of St. Francis. She is currently employed by NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc.Mr. Snyder received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is employed at Keystone Consulting Engineers.
