Kovatch holds Employee Appreciation Day

Since 1946, KME-Kovatch Organization headquarters in Nesquehoning has grown.

To signify that, an Employee Appreciation Day was held on Saturday for its employees and families.John Kovatch III, president and CEO, said, "The employees are truly the key to our past success and future growth."Free food was served by members of the community's fire companies, while numerous demonstrations were conducted on Kovatch property.Despite a challenging economy, the organization has continued to reinvest in infrastructure for future growth and to continue supporting their customers worldwide. Recent additions include a new 166,000-square-foot central warehouse and distribution center, multiple meeting and conference rooms with digital technology, an apparatus final inspection center, an all new paint system, and capital improvements to manufacturing equipment.Kovatch has plants in Pennsylvania, California, New York, and Virginia.
