Marian students to compete at FBLA national level

Two students from Marian Catholic High School, Hometown, will be competing on the national level of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

Victoria Vadyak, daughter of Harry and Karen Vadyak, Summit Hill and Samantha Faust, daughter of Jim and Mary Beth Faust, Barnesville will be traveling to Nashville, Tennessee for competition at the National Leadership Conference from July 14 through July 17.

Vadyak, who recently completed her junior year, will be competing in Public Speaking II, and Faust, who completed her freshmen year, will be competing in Introduction to Business Communications.

Both students finished second in their respective categories at the State Competition, which was held in Hershey in April.

The top two or three qualifiers in each category, from each state compete at the national level. A total of approximately 3,300 students will be participating in over 70 categories.
