A driver abandoned a crashed vehicle and is now being sought by state police.

Troopers out of the Frackville barracks said a 1998 Ford Windstar was driven southbound on SR924, in East Union Township, Schuylkill County, on Wednesday, Jan. 27, about 10:10 p.m. when it left the roadway. The vehicle traveled into the woods and over a tree stump. The vehicle sustained damage to the coolant system due to the crash.The driver fled the scene leaving the vehicle and failing to report the accident.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
