January 23, 1953 A big fourth quarter helps Summit Hill pull away for a 53-39 Black Diamond League win over Lansford. The Hillers use a 12-0 run during the final frame to seal the victory. Johnny McHugh tallies seven of his 12 points during that run. Henry Kopernak scores a game-high 17 points for the winners, coached by Eddie Sikorski, while Dick Davidyock contributes 13. For Lansford, Frank Radocha nets a team-high 16 points.
