Three adults and one juvenile were charged on Friday after two separate drug investigations in Slatington.

At 7:20 a.m., police executed a search warrant at 620 Main St., Apartment 1, in Slatington and arrested Shawn K. Shupp, 30, and Kristy L. Kutzer, 31, who lived in the apartment.Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy.Police seized an ounce of marijuana and $500 in cash from the apartment.The search warrant was executed without incident by the Lehigh County Drug Task Force, State Police, the Lehigh County Municipal Emergency Response Team and Slatington police.Joseph P. Stauffer, chief detective of the Task Force, said an investigation was started after police received complaints from neighbors and undercover drug buys were conducted over a period of a month.An 11-year-old girl, who is Kutzer's daughter, was in the house, and Lehigh County Office of Children and Youth Services caseworkers were notified, according to Stauffer.Late afternoon Friday, Shupp and Kutzer were being arraigned in the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.At 9:30 a.m., a second search warrant was executed at 6438 Ventura Drive in Washington Township. A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of marijuana.Police seized two pounds of marijuana and about $1,000 in cash, Stauffer said.The juvenile was taken to the Lehigh County Juvenile Detention Center.Police also charged an adult living at that address. Elizabeth Gonzalez, 38, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and was released pending due process, Stauffer said.He said police found a small amount of marijuana in her room in the house.The search warrant was executed by the Lehigh County Drug Task Force, Slatington Police and State Police.
