Kresge is named Player of the Week

For the second week in a row, and the third time this season, Wilkes University senior forward Tom Kresge has been voted the Freedom Conference Player of the Week.

Kresge, a Pleasant Valley High School graduate, scored a team-hight 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds in 29 minutes of play against Baptist Bible on Thursday, Jan. 7, He also hit three three-point baskets in the 90-72 route of the Defenders.

On Saturday, Kresge kept the Colonels in the game against Manhattanville, scoring 26 of his team's 60 points, hitting on nine of his 13 shots from the floor. He also snagged 11 rebounds and recorded a block and a steal in the contest.
