Crime Stoppers seeking fugitive

Monroe County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of Frank Joseph Guida.

State police at Lehighton are seeking the public's assistance in locating Guida, who is also wanted by Readington, N.J., police.

On October 16, 2009, the Readington police became involved in a pursuit on Route 202. The vehicle displayed New Jersey registration YD-824C. The plate came back not on file. The vehicle appeared to be a dark colored Model Jimmy (GMC on back hatch door). The operator refused to yield and led several police agencies on a pursuit that resulted in the vehicle passing over into Pennsylvania on I78. The driver was not apprehended.

Guida, 45, was observed working on the vehicle in Raritan, N.J. the morning of the pursuit. He has a Pennsylvania driver's license which shows an address of 3 Sunset Circle, Kresgeville. Guida has an active warrant in New Jersey and is wanted in Oregon for kidnapping and assault. He is also wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police for forgery, theft and access devise fraud. Guida is known to elude and fight with police. Guida has been in at least three pursuits in Pennsylvania in the past.
