Directors of the Lehighton Area Chamber of Commerce were told taht progress is being made on the construction of an enormous model train display being erected at the former Steigerwalt Chicken Farm in Mahoning Township, across from Carbon Plaza. Dean D. W. DeLong, president of the chamber, said the building housing the display has been thoroughly cleaned and refurbishing is ready to begin. Rev. Joseph Kean, pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, owns the trains which will be installed.
