A daughter, Gabriella Mercedes Marrero, was born at 2:29 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, to Carrie and Rob Marrero of Coaldale.

She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Gabriella was welcomed home by an older sibling, Tyler, 9.Maternal grandparents are Judi Fritz of Coaldale, and Bill Fritz of Tamaqua.Paternal grandparents are Carol Narr of Mahanoy City, and Luis Marrero of Philadelphia.
