A Slatington man is facing bad check and related charges for incidents in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said August David Gebhardt went to several local businesses and purchased food using counterfeit checks. The food total was $541.55. Gebhardt was charged with forgery, theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks.The businesses listed as Gebhardt's victims were Foulkers at the Blue Ridge, Blose's Market, Schleicher's Family Restaurant and Two Kings Pizza, all of New Tripoli. The incidents occurred between Jan. 12 and 17, troopers said.
