Community Lenten Lunches

First United Church of Christ, 457 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, will host noontime Lenten Lunches beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Lunches will be held for five consecutive Wednesdays, ending with March 24.

This year's theme will be "The Beatitudes." The public is invited to attend each week for a light lunch and worship. A guest pastor will be featured each week. All faiths are welcome.

Free community meal

A free community meal will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 365 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. All are invited to attend for a meal and fellowship. For more information, call the office at (610) 826-2611.

Camera Club

Palmerton Camera Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. February is member participation month. Members are asked to bring their favorite photographer gadget and explain why it's so great.

Visitors are always welcome to attend. Members only, a reminder; prints are due for the annual contest. Try to bring them along to the meeting. For information, call (610) 826-7285.

Lenten Service

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., will hold its first soup and sandwich evening Lenten service on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The supper will be from 6-7 p.m., followed by a worship service from 7-7:30 p.m. All are invited.
