Joseph Dutzer, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, recently celebrated his 91st birthday.

Born in Beaver Meadows on Feb. 4, 1919, Joe has resided there his entire life.He drove buses for Luzerne and Carbon county bus companies and also worked for Frame Oil Company. He served in the Army in World War ll and is a member of the VFWEven though Joe never had any children of his own, he has always been a devoted uncle.His hobbies over the years have been fishing, walking his dog, carpentry work, and going to the casino.He is a member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Beaver Meadows.
