Jim Thorpe man facing drug count

State police at Lehighton reported a vehicle stop led to drug charges.

Troopers said James William Anderson, 21, of Jim Thorpe, was stopped on Feb. 5 at 10:19 a.m. on Maury Road near Indian Mountain Road in Franklin Township.

During further investigation troopers discovered that Anderson was in possession of a small amount of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Charges will be filed.
