Schuylkill teen facing charges

Published February 01. 2010 05:00PM

A Schuylkill County teenage girl is facing charges following an incident at a county bar and later at the state police barracks at Schuylkill Haven.

Troopers said on Friday, Jan. 29, about 10:34 p.m. they responded to Goodfella's Cafe, in Mt. Carbon, to a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival officers found Tessa Jeronis, 18, of Auburn, in the lobby of the business. She became unruly by yelling and screaming and using obscene language in the area.

She was taken into custody and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle. She then began kicking the front seat of the vehicle and thrashing about while using obscene language.

At the barracks Jeronis intentionally urinated in the holding area.

She was charged with public drunkenness, underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
