Lititz man facing DUI charges

Denis Zamotayev, 32, of Lititz, will ne arrested by state police at the Fogelsville barracks as a result of an alcohol-related accident at 9:50 Dec. 21 on Route 29 in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said he was driving a vehicle northbound when it crossed into the opposite lane of travel and struck a vehicle operated by Lindsay Pokallus, 26, of Emmaus. Zamotayev's vehicle continued to travel north in the oncoming lane of travel and struck a second vehicle driven by Corey O'Brien, 25, also of Emmaus. Police said he fled the scene for about a mile until his vehicle became disabled.

Police said Zamotayev exhibited signs of intoxication and was processed for DUI. His four-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle at the time. Police said the man also faces numerous criminal and traffic-related charges.
