Chiropractic care offered to vet's wife

Dr. Larry Wood of the Community Chiropractic Center, Brodheadsville, is providing chiropractic care for Lois Eisenhauer, wife of Adam Eisenhauer, a serviceman currently serving his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Dr. Wood has treated veterans in the past and this is the first time he is treating a veteran's spouse complimentary, helping her with health issues and the stresses of being separated from her husband during the holidays. The couple has a four-year-old son.Adam is a member of the Army'd CC4, BSB 64th, 4th Infantry Division.

Servicemen and women have limited access to chiropractic care through the VA. This Fall, only 26 veterans' facilities are offering chiropractic care. Some members of the International Chiropractic Association, including Dr. Wood, are volunteering to provide free care for veterans of the Iraq-Afghanistan War.
