Lansford man's car strikes deer

No one was hurt when a car struck a deer headon on Dec. 16 at 6:35 a.m. on Route 209 in Schuylkill Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Stephen M. Kruzik, 27, of Lansford, was driving a 2006 Honda Accord westbound when the deer entered the roadway. The vehicle was unable to stop in time and struck the deer, requiring the vehicle to be towed from the scene.
