Carbon Planners approve 4 proposed land projects

The Carbon County Planning Commission gave the green light to four proposed land projects during its monthly meeting on Tuesday. They are as follows:

• Bryen and Kelly Deutsch/David J. Cressley and Jody L. Rex received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision at the intersection of Railroad and Prospect streets in Weissport; and a proposed lot line revision at 404 Bridge St., Weissport. The plan called for subdividing a .2533-acre lot into two lots. The new lot 1 would then be combined with a lot owned by Cressley and Rex to create a new .158-acre lot.• Gail Mahan received plan approval for a proposed lot line revision at 12 Tallwood Drive, Holiday Poconos, Kidder Township. The plans call for two lots to be merged into one lot.•Mitchell Ross received plan approval for a proposed subdivision near the intersection of Short Lane and Shawnee Trail, Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township. The plan calls for combining two lots into one.• Mildred A. Felten and Carolyn M. Mermon received plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 994 Hemlock Drive in Mahoning Township. The plans call for subdividing 25.579 acres of land.In other matters, the board also reviewed three municipality ordinances that have been changed. No action was needed.
