CCTI students help feed needy families

Students at Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) located in Jim Thorpe had a two week competition among all of the shops in the school to collect cans of food for needy families and a school total of 1,800 cans were collected. Some of the Cosmetology students who's shop collected the most with 887 cans of food in the "Battle of the Shops" are, seated left to right : Kelsea Feliciano, and Yuliya Revzina. Standing, from left : Brittani Siegfried, Kim Pera, Jazmin Dieter, Jasmine Feller, and Lindsay Hoffman. Cans of food were donated directly to some families with some donated to the food pantry located at St. Joseph Church in Jim Thorpe.
