A Summit Hill woman was arrested for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith was dispatched to the Panther Valley Elementary School on Dec. 7 for a report of an irate woman at the school refusing to leave the grounds. Upon arrival Smith encountered Nicole Lynn, 404 W. Ludlow St.

She was at the school in violation of the order. Smith took her into custody and she was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, of Lansford, for contempt of the order. She was released after posting $4,000 straight cash bail.
