Panther Valley HS helps the less fortunate
ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
Students and staff at the Panther Valley High School helped needy families in the area by collecting food donations for the Salvation Army, as well as participating and purchasing gifts for less fortunate children in the area via the Tamaqua Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. Pictured with some of their food and toy donations from left are teacher's aide Kathy Santore, student Tylar Thompson, 15, special education teacher Holly Guedes, and student Justin Michlovsky, 18. Students and staff plan on doing this every year. For more information about the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, call (570) 668-0410 or stop by their building located at 105 West Broad Street in Tamaqua.
