Christmas Eve services planned at Trinity Lutheran Church

Published December 17. 2010 05:00PM

Three Christmas Eve services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Third and Iron streets, Lehighton. Service times are 7, 9 and 11 p.m. on Dec. 24 and each service will be preceded with 20 minutes of special Christmas music performed by vocalists and musicians from that congregation.

The 7 p.m. service is designed for young adults and families with children. At this service, the Trinity Praise Band will offer several selections and all children will receive a small gift. The 9 and 11 services include the traditional candlelight ceremony in which light is passed throughout the congregation as the congregation sings, "Silent Night." Trinity's choirs will offer seasonal anthems.

All three services will include the singing of familiar Christmas carols and the celebration of Holy Communion. The Rev. Robert vonFrisch, pastor, will share a brief Christmas message.
