Over 100 holiday carolers, consisting of Girl Scouts and parents with the Tamaqua Girls Scouts Service Unit 310, helped brighten the holidays for seniors and residents living in the Tamaqua ABC Hi-Rise Apartments and Majestic House Apartments.

The scouts also paraded through the east end streets of Tamaqua, spreading their holiday cheer with songs of the season to a number of locations, including the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and to both the high rises.

Tamaqua Girl Scouts Service Unit 310 Manager Nancy Paisley voiced her appreciation to all the scouts and parents that made the annual caroling so much fun and rewarding.

Following their caroling, the group was treated to hot cocoa, with marshmallows, and cookies at the church following their caroling.
