Village at Palmerton holds Christmas party

Age may take its toll, but it can never take away the kid at heart that lives inside all of us.

Further evidence of that can be observed at the annual Family Christmas Party held at the Village at Palmerton.

The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, and will include a performance by The Bill Arnold Band from 2-3 p.m.

As an added bonus, Santa will stop by at 3:15 p.m. with gifts in tow, which only adds to the event's excitement, said Teri Kotch, administrator.

"They look forward to it every year, the snack foods, the entertainment," Kotch said. "And to get to spend time with their loved ones."

Kotch said it is expected there will be about 175 people in attendance at the event.

"It's just to bring the family close with their loved ones at the holiday time," she said. "We just want everybody to have a nice time."

The Village at Palmerton provides individualized personal care services that address the physical, social, and spiritual needs of each resident.
