The event will be held at 12:48 p.m. - 7:48 a.m. Pearl Harbor, Hawaii time - at the World War II monument along Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Boulevard (Route 209).
It is sponsored and conducted by the Lehighton United Veteans Organization.
Glenn Troutman, who is in charge of the program, said there will be the laying of the wreath on the monument, a firing squad, and a bugler.
Afterwards, there will be a ceremony held at the Lehighton American Legion Post 314, Bridge Street, Lehighton.
It was at 7:48 a.m. on Dec. 7, 1941 when the first wave of Japanese bombers attacked Pearl Harbor.
The Lehighton UVO has made the Dec. 7 program an annual event.
Troutman said that for the first time since it was formed, there will be no banquet of the World War II Last Man's Club this year because of low projected attendance.
