Lansford Alive! made the holidays a bit brighter for the Panther Valley Public Library on Friday when officers presented a $250 donation. Standing, left to right, are Lansford Alive! president Mark Sverchek, treasurer Martha Rex, who is handing the check to Librarian Debi Dodson, and library treasurer Noah Watkins. The library, at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is open from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays; 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.Thursdays.
