Tamaqua holiday walking tour

A historic Tamaqua Holiday Walking Lantern Tour was provided to the public via Tamaqua Historical Society volunteers on Thursday through the downtown as part of the many activities planned during the Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas. They also stopped at the Burkhardt Moser Log Cabin, the first home in Tamaqua, which is located to the rear of 307 E. Broad St. If you missed this tour there are more tours of the Moser Log Cabin this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tamaqua Historical Society volunteers, from left, Alice Taylor, Diosa Hassan, 12, Jennifer Lareau, 12, and president Dale Freudenberger talk to guests about the history and daily aspects of living in the Burkhardt Moser Log Cabin in Tamaqua.
