Bryan Family Benefit for three-year-old boy

Published December 02. 2010 05:00PM

David Bryan is three years old. He would love to be home for the holidays but instead he is fighting for his life.

He is a patient at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) since August.

David suddenly developed a very aggressive malignant brain tumor and was MedEvac'ed to CHOP. He was immediately operated on with 70 percent of the brain tumor removed. He is to receive chemotherapy as soon as he is able and radiation when he is about four or five years old.

His father and mother, Gary and Michelle Bryan and four-year-old sister, Jen, are staying at the Ronald McDonald house to be with him.

The community is holding a Bryan Family Benefit Friday, Dec. 3 at the West End Fire Company, Rt. 715, Brodheadsville, to help with medical expenses. There will be a Silent Auction from 2-8 p.m. and fun, food and dancing to a D.J. from 6-11 p.m.

For more information, please call Marianne at (610) 969-0258.
