Black ice causes accident

A motorist escaped serious injury Thursday morning in Summit Hill after encountering a patch of "black ice" on the White Bear hill. The crash occurred at 6:30 a.m. as the driver was traveling north on SR902. The motorist struck a large patch of ice which covered both lanes of the roadway. The vehicle entered the right berm impacting with a dirt embankment causing it to roll onto its roof. Summit Hill police are investigating the incident.
