A crane, operated by workmen for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, lifts a reinforced concrete beam onto a section of the new 1,530-feet long bridge over the Lehigh River and Canal at Parryville. The $101.6 million Carbon County Bridge-Replacement Project is scheduled to be completed in late 2012.
