Miss Betty Holmberg of the South Ward Playground will reign as princess over the 1958 Indian Festival activities in Tamaqua, with Joseph Johnson of the North and Middle Ward Playground as her consort. The young princess and chief were chosen by the votes of those who attended the Settlers' Ball in the Maennerchor Hall in Tamaqua. Johnson and David Houser of the South Ward Playground were tied in the selectionof chief, but a recount gave Johnson the honors.
