The Frackville Fire Department hosted Schuylkill County's 56th Annual Firefighter's Association Convention Parade on Saturday. Thousands of onlookers lined the streets to watch over 300 trucks and many bands pass by.

The convention, which lasted all week, and Saturday's eight division parade, were hosted by the Good Will Hose Company No. 1 and the Friendship Fire Company, which are also celebrating 100 Years of Good Will and 85 Years of Friendship.

In addition to Schuylkill County fire companies, fire department and companies from Carbon (Lehighton and Jim Thorpe), Cumberland, Dauphin, and Berks counties were also in the parade. Besides all the new, old, and antique firefighting apparatus in the parade, fire companies' marching units participated.
