Subdivision plan of McAdoo property owner is approved

A subdivision plan of a McAdoo property owner was approved by the Schuylkill County Planning Commission at its monthly meeting held Wednesday evening at the courthouse in Pottsville. Prior to the meeting the commission had a public hearing on proposed zoning changes to the county zoning ordinance.

The subdivision plan of Dianne Klatka and Alicia Brode to subdivide 0.137 of an acre in McAdoo to create separate parcels for an existing single family residential dwelling and existing garage received approval. The area is zoned R1 under the borough zoning ordinance.

Sullivan Trial Company, Indian Head Coal Company and Natural Coal Company, doing business as Pagnotti Enterprises, received approval to subdivide 270.14 acres into a single family residential plus annexations and residue in Reilly Township. The area is zoned CM (Commercial Mining), R-3 (Multi Family Residential) and VC (Village Commercial) Districts.

The commission reviewed several subdivisions submitted to local planning commissions and found they were in line with the county's comprehensive land use plan and returned them for final approval without a comment. They were:

Estate of Dorothy Davidovich, Tamaqua, two lot existing dwellings; Burdell L. and Dolores A. Troxelll and Charles C. and Jean A. Snyder, West Penn Township, final subdivision two lot annexaton; Tamaqua Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, final land development for a proposed church; and Steven and Cynthia A. (Dyrda) Hatton, West Penn Township, final subdivision of one lot for existing dwelling.
