Wildflower walk at Tuscarora Park

Conservation volunteer Dennis "Pap" Knauss will lead a "Spirit of Tuscarora Trail" walk from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22. The trail is 4.5 miles in length and moderate in difficulty.

The trail winds through several diverse habitats with a view of the Tuscarora Lake Cove.

Many of the summer wildflowers are now in bloom.

Meet at the upper beach parking lot. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and get along well with people and other pets.
